A New Chapter for Why

This week, we welcomed this sweet baby girl into our home.  She gets along great with other dogs and is adjusting very nicely in our home. Why is very quiet, and lovable. There is simply nothing not to love about her. She is also very sweet and laid back. Why is looking for her forever home and a new loving family to love and care for her. (:

It's me, Why, again. I had a tough night (tummy trouble) (blush) but today my FM said I was a great girl. I played in the yard with the poodle and the other greyhounds, I ate two big meals and wanted more, and I chewed on a bully stick in my ex pen. I am looking forward to meeting YOU, so call Patty and Suzanne and get my number.

Yesterday my long time "sister", Susie Slots, went to another foster home. Yes, I had a meltdown, but now Laurel is my new BFF, and I am doing just fine. I have a great appetite and a good tummy, my FM told me. I am getting along well with everyone, and I really like my foster dad too. I hope I will get my forever home soon. My FM was going to give me a new name, since she says "WHY" is not a good name for a sweet girly girl like me, but she said my new family will decide. I know my name and I respond very well to commands. Come meet me soon!!

Last night I did a very cute play-bow for the big cute boy greyhound who lives with my FM. I did a big bounce and came down on my front paws, looking really fabulous. He turned his head and didn't play with me!!! I am waaaay too adorable to be ignored. My FM says to tell you that I do not like to be alone. I need to be with another greyhound. The poodle does NOT cut it! I need company. But I am really, really sweet and good, and I love to eat. I have cleaned my plate and asked for more after every meal. I love soft beds, wet food and warm water in my kibble, and lots of love from my human.

Susie Slots and I are with my FM now. She picked us up after we had a dental Wednesday, and we were REALLY glad to see a car so we could escape!!! I tried to get into the front seat, and we both leaped into my FM's SUV as soon as she opened up the back. We were still woozy, but we knew exactly what we were doing. She said we are good car riders.

I am a very good girl. There is a small fluffy poodle here, and I ignore her. I got up a couple times in the night, but my FM (and her poodle) told me to lie down, so I went right back to bed. She says I am such a good girl. I ate a big breakfast this morning and I pottied in the rain. I did the stairs just fine, and I can walk on hardwood floors. I am just about perfect, indeed!!!

Why am I here?????

I met Here's Why for the first time today at the SEGA kennel. She is awaiting her dental Wednesday, and then she will be coming home with me. She is a pretty little thing, not a large girl - not as large as her cousin, my Laurel Lambert. Right now she just wants to get her teeth cleaned and leave the kennel; she is having a tough time. Why has been in a home - the victim of the economy - so she and Susie Slot were brought to SEGA to find a new home. Why lived with a Yorkie and a Maltese, so she will be kind to your fluffies. Look for posts about Why's adventures soon. Her first adventure will be to get a new name!! She wants a girly girl name!!
